Actor Robert Pattinson has his own version of a diary - the legions of fans who monitor his every move.

Pattinson, 24, is followed around the world by admirers thanks to his role in the hugely popular Twilight trilogy of vampire films.

And he says he uses their fansites to check where he is supposed to be when he can't get hold of his agent.Pattinson said:

"It's kind of incredible the information that they get so quickly. Sometimes I check them just to see what my schedule is." The actor, dating co-star Kristen Stewart, is currently promoting final Twilight film Eclipse, in which he plays vampire Edward Cullen.

But he admitted he also enjoyed playing a sex-mad war veteran in upcoming movie Bel Ami.Pattinson said: "It's really fun, a really amoral character. It's a story about how the sh*ts can kind of completely win at times by doing absolutely nothing."
