Hollywood's latest heartthrob Robert Pattinson is scared of buying a house for himself as he is worried he may not be able to afford the mortgage payments if his acting career slumps.

The British actor, who shot to international fame with hit movie 'Twilight', was recently thinking of investing his money in a Los Angeles home as he is tired of living in hotels, Contactmusic reported.

"I've been forced to stay in a hotel for the last three years, which is frustrating. I almost gave in and bought a house in Hollywood," said Pattinson.

But the 23-year-old actor is reconsidering the idea as he is afraid that he may not land any more movie roles. "Luckily I realised how insanely expensive that is and I don't even know if I'll still be working next year," said the actor.
