The 25-year-old English actor stars opposite Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott Thomas, and Christina Ricci in the adaptation of the Guy de Maupassant novel from 1885. Rob plays Georges Duroy, an ex-soldier and journalist “who uses his charm and good looks to climb the social ladder in Paris,” THR reports. Bel Ami is expected to hit theaters overseas at the end of February.
