WE are all used to drooling over Robert Pattinson for his good looks, kind manner and charm but it looks like we are about to see another side of the Hollywood heartthrob. Robert Pattinson will play a philandering Frenchman who jumps into bed with married women to work his way up the social ladder, in an upcoming movie Bel Ami. The gorgeous hunk will play Georges Duroy, who gets ahead by sleeping with influential older ladies in Paris, during the 1980s.
Based on the book, his character is an ex-soldier who turns into an amoral journalist and becomes the most successful man in the French capital. Stars such as Uma Thurman, Kristin Scott and Christina Ricci will play R-Patz's conquests during the movie.
When talking about the film, Rob said: "We were really true to the book and because the guy is basically a s**t who wins everything at the end it's really difficult to market it - especially with me in it.
"Everyone's worried that everyone's going to be thinking, 'Oh I want him to be nice, he's gt to be nice to all the ladies."When asked about Robert, Uma said: 'He is incredibly concrete in his presence on the set and obviously very handsome.
