Robert Pattinson cuts a suave figure in “Bel Ami.” He’s part rogue, part dashing man about town. With the film premiering in Berlin this week, a new clip has gown viral with almost 12 minutes of the movie–all if it about Rob.

The adaptation of Guy de Maupassant’s 19th century novel about Rob’s character, George Duroy, is significant because the role is a marked departure from almost anything else Rob has done, including the “Twilight” series. He plays an unsavory anti-hero, a “penniless” ex-soldier who is determined to claw his way up French society by seducing the wives of powerful men.

He overflows with lust, desire and ambition. Rob is back on the promotion trail for the film. He’ll be making stops at the Berlin Film Festival and likely the Glasgow Film Festival in Scotland.

“Bel Ami” will hold its world premiere in Berlin on Feb. 17, and will also screen at the Glasgow festival, which runs from Feb. 16 to Feb. 26. Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Kristen Scott Thomas also star. Thurman and Ricci are scheduled to be in Berlin as well.

“My Bel Ami guy doesn’t have a conscience,” he told the Edinburgh Herald newspaper in Scotland. “Most fictional characters are driven by some target, but he is like a reverse character. He’s so content to do nothing and thinks everything should just be given to him,” he says, explaining his character.

“But if someone slights him, or directs any insult at him, the most overwhelming energy grabs him and he turns into this absolute devil who will do anything.”

The clip, nearly 12 minutes long, opens with Rob’s character stalking Kristin Scott Thomas’s character Madame Walter, a wealthy married society woman, whom he’s trying to seduce. He follows her to a church where she’s gone to pray.

The scene is tense and erotic as Duroy makes his intentions known. She tries to avoid him, flees to another more secluded part of the church and falls on her knees to pray.

“Is there any hope for me,” Duroy says, placing his hand on her shoulder. She can no longer resist. She kisses his hand and the fall into an passionate embrace. “You are trying to seduce me in a church,” she says, before running off.

From there, the clip cuts to what might be a familiar scene because it’s been in an earlier trailer. Duroy meets his friend in a bar. But the scene is longer and shows Rob eyeing prostitutes. His sexual magnetism is evident as the ladies eye him lasciviously.

The next scene is the dinner, where he meets Uma Thurman’s character Madeleine Forestier, the wife of his colleague from the Army Georges Forestier, who takes Duroy under his wing in Paris. Then there is an extended look at Duroy charming Clotilde de Marelle, played by Christina Ricci.

What's it like to make love to Robert Pattinson in the back of a luxurious limo? Millions of women all over the world would lop off their right arms to find out. In a recent interview, Oscar-winning French actress Juliette Binoche dished on her experiences having "vehicular sex" with Twilight heart-throb, Robert Pattinson in David Cronenberg's eagerly awaited thriller, Cosmopolis. But Twihards, beware. Somehow, Binoche's memories of getting busy with one of the most famous male sex symbols on earth weren't as hot as she'd probably expected.

"I make love in the limo! Belonging to Robert Pattinson," Binoche recalled, "[a] fabulously wealthy man who wants it all and loses it all! It sounds like Cronenberg, doesn't it? Director of photography, Peter Suschitzky, lights up each shot like a painting. Robert and I were alone in the car with a camera and a microphone, and we could hear David's voice coming from a distance: we would redo a take, then another one, etc. There was something clinical about it..."

Well, being alone in the limo with only the microphone and camera sounds pretty hot. But lights going off? David Cronenberg yelling directions through the limo walls? And the whole thing seemed clinical? Poor Juliette Binoche. Her big love scene with Rob sounds more onerous than sexy. Although it started out intriguingly sensual, it seemed to grow lukewarm and fall flat--like a big tease. Which according to Binoche was precisely the effect Cronenberg wanted to convey. Binoche's character, an art saleswoman, emerges from her tryst with the wealthy and handsome younger man feeling "lonely, miserable. And that's exactly what David wanted to tell: the sense of a world that falls and loses."

Goodness. Sounds depressing. Oh well, looks like Robert Pattinson fans will have to wait to see the movie and decide for themselves if his limo love scenes with Juliette Binoche are hot or not. Cosmopolis is scheduled for release later this year.

Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart may be one of the hottest on-screen and off-screen Hollywood couples, but The Twilight Saga stars and ultimate fan favorites have competition in some fellow vampires from the small screen: Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev of the hit CW series, The Vampire Diaries. Like Pattinson and Stewart, Somerhalder and Dobrev not only are actors on the same show, they also have quite the off-camera romance and certainly hold their own on the sultry meter. And both sets of couples have also graced the cover of Entertainment Weekly magazine. But did Edward and Bella or Damon and Elena cut the sexier cover profile?

The latest issue of EW, which features a series of three The Vampire Diaries "collector's covers," might have just pushed Ian Somerhalder and Nina Dobrev past Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart on the hotness scale. The nearly nude stars are simply smoldering as Dobrev poses in the middle of Somerhalder and co-star Paul Wesley in one version, and separately with each of the two hunky guys for the other two covers. Talk about a steamy love triangle!

Of course, The Twilight Saga's Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart held their own for several issues of Entertainment Weekly over the years. While they are more fully clothed, they still rock plenty of sexy appeal. For one of the covers, Stewart looks positively enchanting as she holds an apple (ironically, the shot would work for her current role in Snow White and the Huntsman, too!), while Pattinson embraces her.

R-Patz and K-Stew have also posed for EW with co-star Taylor Lautner, fully taking advantage of the Team Jacob versus Team Edward competition. A November 2011 issue of the magazine, promoting Breaking Dawn: Part 1, is probably one of the best of the trio, though. Kristen Stewart looks sophisticated and gorgeous, surrounded by the handsome duo of Lautner and Pattinson, with both guys flashing sexy stares.

Twelve minutes from the latest Robert Pattinson film, an adaptation of Guy de Maupassant's Bel Ami, have been uploaded online. Those consist of five brief, disparate scenes from the movie, all of them featuring Pattinson. (This Bel Ami online video — please scroll down — was initially posted at Robert Pattinson Life.)

Set in a church, in the first scene Pattinson's ambitious ex-soldier Georges Duroy plays (very determinedly) a game of seduction with Older Woman Kristin Scott Thomas. In the second, Pattinson convincingly plays a drunk Duroy in a cabaret. That's when he runs into the obnoxious publisher Charles Forestier, who will inadvertently assist Duroy in his ascent in Parisian society.

The third scene is set at the Forrestier dinner table. The issue of class is all too apparent — Duroy doesn't know which knife to use — and so are the various seduction games despite all the surface talk about life in the desert and French colonial politics. Even though Pattinson, Christina Ricci, and Uma Thurman are perfectly fine — Pattinson's facial expressions, a mix of shyness and self-assertion, are particularly impressive — the scene-stealer here is Scott Thomas: "I was told that the [desert] sands … sing?"

In the fourth scene, Duroy performs a different sort of seduction, as a little girl falls for her playful "bel ami." The brief follow-up scene features Pattinson/Duroy and his conquest Ricci/Clotilde de Marelle in his dingy apartment.

Though a low-budget production, Bel Ami — as its trailer (and even its poster) promised — is gorgeous to look at. [Watch the trailer: Bel Ami. Check out the Bel Ami poster.] Declan Donnellan and Nick Ormerod's period drama has already been shown at special screenings in several Belgian cities. Even so, Bel Ami will have its official World Premiere on Feb. 17 at the Berlin Film Festival. Adapted by Rachel Bennette, the film's cast also includes Colm Meaney, Natalie Tena, Holliday Grainger, Pip Torrens, James Lance, and Todd Peterson.

Robert Pattinson should be seen again later this year in two more movies: David Cronenberg's Cosmopolis, with Sara Gadon, Kevin Durand, Juliette Binoche, Samantha Morton, Paul Giamatti, Mathieu Amalric, and Jay Baruchel; and Bill Condon's The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 2, the last installment in the Twilight franchise. Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart apparently broke hearts on- and off-screen when they met on the set of “Twilight” in 2008. Catherine Hardwicke, who directed the first movie, still feels some remorse over the break-ups that followed.

Hardwicke recalls in a new interview that Pattinson was dating Twilight co-star Nikki Reed and Stewart was with her boyfriend of four years Michael Angarano. Hardwicke had worked with Reed in her breakthrough movie “Thirteen.” Hardwicke won a Sundance Film Festival award for best director.

Angarano had appeared in her 1997 movie “Lords of Dogtown,” about skateboarding. Michael started dating Kristen after co-starring with her in the 2004 movie “Speak.” But not long after “Twilight” started filming, Pattinson ended his fling with Reed, and Stewart ended her relationship with Angarano.

Before long speculation began that the two “Twilight” stars were off-screen lovers as well. But they doggedly evaded all questions about their relationship. Today, it’s widely accepted they have been a couple for some time.

But Hardwicke can remember when Stewart gave Angarano his walking papers. “He’s a wonderful actor. He was in Dogtown, one of my favorites, so I felt pretty bad because I love him and they were such a great couple,” she told the Vulture column of New York magazine.

This is intriguing news and raises questions about the status of Rob and Kristen’s prior relationships before they got together. Had they already split up, or were they still dating others when they started hooking up?

Sadly, writer Jada Yuan doesn’t follow up. What is known is that no love is lost between Reed and Stewart. “In the beginning, it was innocent and fun, and we were like one big happy family; it was like being at sleepaway camp,” Reed told Seventeen magazine back in November. “And then success comes along and changes the dynamic.”

Reed revealed that not everyone will be parting friends now that filming on the last two segments in the series, “Breaking Dawn, Part 1 and Part 2″ is over. “We’re not all best friends, and we’re not all going to hang out together after the final movie is done,” she added. Reed got married to actor Paul McDonald last October in a private Malibu ceremony.

For his part, Angarano has never spoken publicly about what happened between him and Kristen, and neither has the vampire star. But so far Rob and Kristen’s relationship seems to be enduring.

There’s nothing Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart like better than going out and being regular people. You rarely see them out and about at super fancy restaurants or clubs and true to form, they went out to the very casual and low key Iwata Sushi restaurant in Sherman Oaks, Calif. Feb. 6 — and HollywoodLife.com has all the details on their very normal night.

Sundy Carter and her daughter (and Twi-hard), Deja, sat next to Rob, Kristen and Kristen’s mom, Jules Mann-Stewart, at the restaurant and told us all about the amazing experience. “Rob, Kristen and her mom were extremely kind and friendly,” Sundy said. “They seemed very happy and down to earth. They took photos with my daughter, which was sweet of them.”

Iwata is located in the Valley, which is where Kristen’s family lives. The restaurant is very intimate and consists of about seven tables and a bar area. Meals are inexpensive…in fact, you could have an amazing meal for $20 a person.

Prior to coming into the restaurant, Rob, 25, and Kristen, 21, shopped briefly at American Vintage and Iguana Vintage Clothing across the street. Another eyewitness tells us they didn’t buy anything, but browsed the t-shirts and jeans. “They didn’t hold hands or have any PDA,” the source said. “But I think that’s because they were trying to be respectful with her mom there.”

We’re so thankful Deja is such a Robsten fan and took photos with Rob and Kristen. It took a few hours to get a hold of her, since she was traveling to Philadelphia with her mom today. “Deja is a dancer and we are filming a documentary about raising money for our dear friend, Carolyn Gibbs, who is battling cancer,” Sundy explained. “My daughter is performing tomorrow night.”

Robert Pattinson jumped at the chance to bed lots of hot women in his new movie. The British actor - who is dating his 'Twilight Saga' co-star Kristen Stewart - was thrilled to be offered the opportunity to play lothario Georges Duroy, whose conquests include characters played by Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Kristen Scott Thomas, in 'Bel Amis'. He told Scottish newspaper The Herald: "There are lots of attractive women in the film. Christina Ricci, Uma Thurman and Kristen Scott Thomas ... And I sleep with all of them!

"The thing that stands out in the story in 'Bel Ami' is just his behavior - the women that he manages to screw over are all attracted to him to begin with and so he starts having affairs with them and destroys their lives afterwards. That's kind of nuts."Robert also revealed it was fun to play a character who is the exact opposite of vampire Edward Cullen, who has an old fashioned view of romance, from the 'Twilight Saga'.

"Doing something like 'Twilight' opens doors and it closes others. You can say, 'Oh if I was still unknown, then no-one would judge me,' but at the same time, nobody would give a s**t either. It's a weird little balance. And, most of the time, you are just completely guessing what people do, so I suppose doing scripts that you think are good is the way to go. And that's what I thought about 'Bel Ami'."

Fans of Twilight Breaking Dawn Part 1 will finally get to see bloopers from the movie. Taylor Lautner and Robert Pattinson both have their funny moments that are shared in a clip from the DVD coming out. The clip is funny and will leave you wanting more. Sadly, we all have to wait until the 11th when they release the actual DVD. The best part is that we can likely expect to see so much more of it in the actual DVD. However, in the mean time we have the actual clip for you to watch down below.

I don’t know how many fans likely squealed with delight over this. This is something that we all like and as fans, we finally get to see a more fun side of the serious film. I know that it shows a whole different side of the actors and it also proves that they all must have had a blast while filming. I personally love the fact that they had so much fun while filming.

Are you excited to see more bloopers? I am, but then again I am a sucker for most bloopers. They certainly make things more exciting and add a lot of texture to the movie. Plus it is just fun to see that even as professional as they come across the screen, they still have made their mistakes. It really helps prove to us that they are still just as human as well are.

According to Hollywood Life, Twilight mega star Robert Pattinson drove the Author of the Twilight Saga books Stephenie Meyer to tears after his rock solid performance in one of the Breaking Dawn scenes. Stephenie said this in a “behind the scenes” clip from the upcoming Bdawn DVD.

She stated, “He was really able to touch the human emotions of that scene. Rob really nailed it. It was really powerful. I teared up, several people near me did. It was just a lump in your throat. That moment of thinking you’ve lost everything,and not being able to accept it. It was really emotional.”The scene she was speaking about,was where Edward is trying to do everything in his power to keep Bella alive as she was dying. The new DVD goes on sale this February 10th.
